PRESS: Russian power firms demand law enforcement bodies repay debt
MOSCOW, Jul 11 (PRIME) – Non-payments for power by Russian law enforcement authorities are still serious, business daily Vedomosti reported on Monday, citing a letter of the association of guaranteed suppliers and the council of power makers to Energy Minister Alexander Novak.
The debt has reached 1.45 billion rubles for electric power and 3.4 billion rubles for heating power by the beginning of June and is expected to stand at 2.75 billion rubles and 4.05 billion rubles correspondingly by the year’s end, the chairmen of the two associations said in the letter.
The power market arbiters asked the ministry for support.
